Two more weeks

Well we only have two more weeks left until classes resume. Then hopefully we'll be done and off to vet school.

The job thing didn't work out, not sure if I posted that here or not.

Been a busy week this week trying to get everything in order and ready for Tori's party, plus Matt worked days Thursday and Friday which threw our whole schedule off a little bit. Then Thursday I ended up in the ER with my friend Christine. Poor thing, we just wen to the mall to look at some maternity clothes for her and she started having pain in her belly and then spotting and she's only ~9 weeks so off to the doctors we went. She has the cutest little boy Aiden that stayed with us for the night and Tori just thought that was the coolest!

She was so excited he was over to play and then just wanted to lay down with him on the couch and watch a movie when she saw he was tired. He was too cute all curled up on the couch. The downside is she almost refused to stay in her bed because he was here.

On another note I have started getting into jewelry making. Some of you may have seen my first crochet piece and now I have a bunch of supplies to make "regular" beaded jewelry. I've made a few pieces, two anklets, two necklaces so far and then I have more in the way of the glass beads now to make more traditional jewelry. It's funny really it started as trying to come up with jewelry embellishments for the crochet stuff I make but then I wanted to try making more traditional stuff. Now I'm thinking about seeing what it would take to set up a table at the farmers market but I don't know how much I really want to sell stuff like that. I guess I'd rather have people show them off to friends and family and have people ask for stuff that way, but I guess we'll see. I'll post some pictures soon of completed pieces.

Tori is too funny with it all too, the couple times we've gone to the store to get supplies she's picked out a thing or two, well Wednesday we went to this new craft store, Hobby Lobby; HUGE place!, and she found this little princess tin lunchbox and by the time we got to the register she had it packed with stuff. She had embroidery floss, candy, beads, pendants, she had a thing of waxed thread, just filled it. The cashier went to open it and I was like OMG how did she get all that stuff, well needless to say she was allowed to have the lunchbox but not all the goodies stuffed inside.

For now though it's the weekend and we're waiting for daddy to get home from work and then maybe go to the park, though I think it's going to rain soon...
