Mini Rant

So I have to just lay out my mini rant really quick.

Why is it that people think they can use animals and dispose of them as though they are some child's play thing you pick up at wal-mart? I mean seriously!? What on earth goes through the mind of the person who posts their 10 week old kitten for free on craigslist because "my daughter changed her mind" ?

That poor cat now has to go to another totally new environment and try to be ok with it. No different than the guy who posted his great dane for free because "I'm moving out of state and it's too expensive to take him with me". How expensive is it really to pack him up in the car with you while you drive there? Oh wait yea it's free! But you got this huge dog and now you're moving and you don't want the hassle or responsibility or whatever or this beautiful creature who has probably done nothing to deserve being randomly abandoned.

It's people like that that make me wish I had a tremendous amount of land so I could take them all in ( yes I know I would inadvertently become a hoarder and that is a whole other problem) but I can't and I have to just sit by and watch people take on animals that they only want while they're cute little puppies or kittens.

And yes I know a relatively pointless rant but I had to say something because I just find it so frustrating!!!

On a better note took bean to my Aunt Wendy's today and she was soooooo excited to see that Wendy had a little dog. She thinks the ones that are her size are just too much fun. Plus my cousin had left her new puppy there for the day and OMG to watch the munchkin and the puppy rolling around on the deck was just too cute. My cousin actually got a picture of her with the puppy that is just adorable and she said to her "well I have to hold on to her so she doesn't knock you over!" Just too adorable.
